Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Cwupid’s photo-scoring, feedback, Photo Studio, account, saved-history, and gallery features.

What Cwupid provides

Cwupid provides experimental predictions and constructive photography feedback about images. A percentile estimates how a reference population responded under the model’s standardized context. It evaluates the photograph, not the human being shown. It is not a measurement of attractiveness, beauty, character, identity, social value, worth, or future success, and it does not guarantee engagement on any platform.

Your photos and account

You retain your rights in photos you upload. You give Cwupid permission to process them only as needed to provide the features you request, including storing a photo when you explicitly save it and displaying it to gallery members or the public when you place it in a gallery with that visibility. You are responsible for having the right and any necessary consent to upload and share each image, choosing an accurate and non-impersonating public username, choosing a unique password when using password sign-in, keeping your credentials confidential, and maintaining control of your sign-in account.

Authorization for portrait processing

Only submit a photo for scoring, feedback, or Photo Studio if you own the photo or have permission to upload and analyze it, every identifiable person in it agreed to that use, and it does not depict a minor. Cwupid detects people and faces, selects a primary person, creates a temporary crop and image features, estimates a broad gender reference category for calibration, and produces the requested score and report. Cwupid does not identify anyone, authenticate identity, create a reusable face template, or use face data for advertising. The privacy policy explains the fields, service providers, storage, retention, and deletion practices in detail.

Programmatic access

Access to Cwupid scoring through an API key is governed by the API terms and acceptable use, which add to these terms. They cover who is responsible for the photographs a key submits, the applications the API may not be used for, and how a result must be presented wherever it is shown to a person.

Acceptable use and gallery safety

Do not use Cwupid to violate law or another person’s rights; score or publish an identifiable person without permission; submit a minor for scoring; upload intimate imagery without consent; exploit or endanger a child; threaten, harass, shame, mock, rank, compare, hatefully target, impersonate, or deceive another person; post illegal, violent, infringing, or spam content; identify or make high-impact decisions about a person; probe or disrupt the service; evade security or usage limits; or present an experimental photo score as an objective judgment about a person. Cwupid may be used for constructive evaluation of authorized photographs, never to judge human attractiveness, identity, character, social value, or worth.

Private galleries are limited to their members. Public galleries are available immediately to anyone with their link. Account holders can report a gallery or photo, block another account from gallery interaction, view the accounts they have blocked, and unblock them. Cwupid may reject or remove content, end collaboration, restrict public visibility, or suspend or terminate an account when reasonably needed to enforce these terms, protect people, investigate a report, or comply with law. Availability and changes

The scorer runs on on-demand infrastructure and may take time to start. Features may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued, and provider sign-in may depend on Google, Meta, Apple, Cloudflare, AWS, or OpenAI availability. Instagram Login is available only for Instagram professional Business and Creator accounts because Meta does not provide this login API for personal Instagram accounts.

Plans and payment

Cwupid is sold as a monthly subscription. On the website, Starter is $4.99 per month for 40 actions, Plus is $9.99 per month for 100 actions, and Studio is $19.99 per month for 220 actions, in US dollars. In the iOS app, Apple shows the price, currency, subscription period, and any applicable tax in your region before you confirm a purchase. The account billing page and the iOS purchase screen show the actions included and your plan limits before you subscribe.

Each plan also sets how many photos your account can hold: 30 on the free tier, 150 on Starter, 500 on Plus, and 1,000 on Studio. This is a storage limit rather than a meter - deleting a photo frees its place immediately, and reaching the limit never costs you an action, because an upload is refused before anything is stored or charged. Two features need a paid plan: asking Cwupid to go deeper on a photo, and asking which part of a photo carried its score. Both are available on Starter and above. Scoring a photo and the notes included with that score do not require a plan.

Stripe processes website payments and Apple processes purchases made through the iOS app. Cwupid does not receive your card number or Apple Account payment details. Monthly actions are granted only after Cwupid verifies the payment directly with Stripe or Apple, never from a browser redirect or an unverified device message. A paid action that fails and returns no usable result is refunded to your action balance automatically.

Your plan renews monthly until you cancel. For a website subscription, cancel from the Stripe billing portal linked on your account page. For an App Store subscription, cancel or manage it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep the actions already granted and subscription access through the current paid period, subject to a provider refund or revocation.

The free tier

You do not need a subscription to use Cwupid. A new account gets one free action so you can try the model before deciding anything. Once you verify a mobile number, that account receives 10 free Cwupid actions and, for as long as it has no active subscription, its balance is topped back up to 8 free actions at the start of each calendar month. This is a monthly allowance rather than an accumulating balance: an unused month does not stack, and the top-up brings you up to 8 rather than adding 8. Nothing is ever removed from your balance to do this, and free actions you already hold are yours under the same carry-over rules as any other grant. Subscribing replaces the free allowance with your plan’s monthly actions rather than adding to it. Free actions have no cash value and may be limited or withdrawn prospectively.

What an action costs

Scoring a photo costs one action, and the notes that come with that score are included in it - you are charged once, not twice. Asking for a further set of notes on the same photo, in a different style or later on, costs one more action. Photo Studio charges one action per photo in the set, plus one for the set itself. A paid action that fails and returns no usable result is refunded to your balance automatically.

How your actions carry over

Unused actions do not expire, and nothing is taken away on a schedule. Your balance is capped: it will not grow beyond three months of your plan’s monthly actions - 120 on Starter, 300 on Plus, 660 on Studio. If a renewal would take you past that cap, the amount above it is not added, and your account page warns you before this can happen. Your balance and every grant, use, refund, and capped amount are itemised on your account page.

Promotional offers

When Cwupid displays a phone-verification offer, one account may claim it once and one mobile number may be used for one claim. Creators may also apply for complimentary access at /#creators; approval is at our discretion and is not a paid subscription. Our team may reserve a complimentary credit grant for an exact email address. If an account already uses that email, the grant is added immediately; otherwise it is added automatically when an account using that email is created or signs in, before the grant’s stated expiry. No claim link is required for these email-bound grants. Previously issued private invitation links may still be redeemed once, before their stated expiry, by an account using the exact invited email. A complimentary grant is not a paid subscription and does not require a payment method. Promotional actions have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and appear in the same itemised balance as other grants. Cwupid also gives each account a referral invitation link. If someone who has not had a Cwupid account before creates one through your referral link and then verifies a mobile number that has not been used on Cwupid before, both accounts receive 20 free actions. One account can be rewarded for at most 4 invitations. Each person counts once: the mobile number is what identifies them, and the record that they were counted is kept if either account is later deleted, so the limit cannot be reset by starting again. A referral invitation that is never completed grants nothing, and an account that already exists cannot be joined to an invitation afterwards. We may limit or withdraw an offer prospectively, but actions already granted remain available under the carry-over rules above.

Refunds

Our refund policy is published at /refunds and forms part of these terms. For website charges processed by Stripe, within 14 days of a charge, if you have not used any of the actions that charge granted, we refund it in full. Apple controls refunds for App Store purchases; request one through Apple, and contact us if you need supporting account information. Applicable consumer law may give you additional rights, which these terms do not limit.

Disclaimers

Cwupid is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that a score, report, recommendation, saved item, or service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Use your own judgment before acting on any output.

Account termination

You may delete your account at /delete-account. Private photos, reports, credentials, provider links, and sessions are deleted as described in the privacy policy. Minimal payment, credit-ledger, dispute, and security records may be retained where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal obligations. We may restrict or terminate access for abuse, security risk, or violation of these terms.

Support and updates

Support, billing questions, and refund requests all go to [email protected], which is the only support channel - Cwupid will never ask you for payment details or a password by email or any other means. We aim to reply within two business days. If a change to these terms materially affects what you pay or what you get, we will post it here with a revised effective date and email subscribers before it takes effect; other updates are posted here with a revised date, and continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.
